| If
you must run 23º heads, you just can’t find a better one anywhere!
The unique AFR 215cc Raised Runner small block Chevy cylinder heads
feature a raised intake port to straighten the runner for superior
high flow. These angle plug heads are available in two stages of
performance. With 100% CNC ported intake runners, 76cc combustion
chambers and 80cc exhaust ports with a 3/4” thick head deck
(ideal for nitrous or blower applications). We also offer the “as
cast” Stage 1 heads for Raised Runner performance on a budget.
Standard valves are 2.100 intake and 1.600 exhaust with AFR’s
hardened ductile iron interlocking valve seats. The incredible flow
characteristics, 23º valve angle, and raised runners make this the
perfect head for 350 to 434 cid engines in drag cars, sprint cars,
and late model oval trackers operating from 4500 rpm on up. Raised
Runner heads are available in either standard or spread port exhaust.
Shaft mount rockers with a 0.450” offset on the intake are
required with a .150” to .180” offset lifter. The distance
from floor to the head deck at the gasket is 0.700”.
